Baho Coffee – Bweyeye CWS 001/2025
A Premium Natural Coffee from the Highlands of Rusizi, Rwanda
At BAHO Coffee Company Ltd, excellence begins at origin. Our Bweyeye Coffee Washing Station (CWS), located in Rusizi District in Rwanda's Western Province, is home to one of our most exceptional lots — Bweyeye CWS 001/2025.
Grown at elevations between 1,600 and 2,000 meters above sea level, this coffee benefits from the cool, misty climate influenced by the nearby Nyungwe Forest, one of Africa's oldest rainforests. The region's altitude, rich volcanic soils, and consistent humidity create ideal conditions for cultivating premium specialty coffee.
A Coffee Shaped by Nature and Precision
This lot is processed using the Natural (Dry) Process, also referred to as the "Normal Natural" method. Only fully ripe cherries are carefully hand-harvested and meticulously sorted before being dried slowly with the fruit pulp intact.
Drying the coffee in its cherry allows sugars and fruit compounds to deeply infuse into the bean, resulting in a cup profile that is vibrant, complex, and beautifully structured. Throughout every stage — from seedling distribution and farmer training to harvest supervision and controlled drying — BAHO Coffee maintains close oversight to ensure quality consistency.
Our hands-on approach guarantees that only the best cherries reach the Bweyeye CWS, delivering a coffee that reflects both terroir and craftsmanship.
