Baho Coffee was founded with a mission to showcase Rwanda's exceptional specialty coffee to the world. We work directly with local washing stations and farmers to ensure the highest quality beans while supporting sustainable farming practices.
Our name "Baho" means "life" in Kinyarwanda, reflecting our commitment to bringing life and opportunity to coffee-growing communities across Rwanda.
Through our 20 washing stations across Rwanda—Akagera, Bugoyi, Mukura, Bweyeye, Cyabingo, Fugi, Buheta, Gitoki, Humure, Karambi, Kinazi, Matyazo, Muganza, Kamegeri, Gaseke, Muzo, Ngoma, Ngororero, Neza, and Shara—we're able to trace every bean back to its origin, ensuring transparency and quality at every step.

Cherries are dried whole, resulting in sweeter, fruitier, and heavier-bodied coffee.
The most common method, involving pulping, fermenting (often 18-24 hours), washing, and drying on raised beds.
A hybrid method where the skin is removed but some mucilage remains during drying, creating a balance between washed and natural profiles.

Premium natural coffee from Bweyeye Coffee Washing Station in Rusizi District, grown between 1600–2000 meters. The cool climate near Nyungwe Forest creates ideal conditions for high-quality coffee. Ripe cherries are carefully sorted and dried with the pulp intact.

A specially prepared lot selected from four high-altitude farmers, processed using anaerobic natural methods under shade at Ngoma Coffee Washing Station.

River Flow Fermentation Lot 004—an experimental anaerobic natural processed at Muganza CWS using closely monitored fermentation, hygiene, drying, and full traceability.

Natural lot 71 from Kinazi CWS: cherries are float-separated, carefully dried on raised beds with regular turning over 19 days to 12.0% moisture, then stored in clean bags.
